WELL YES!® WITH CAMPBELL’S SOUP
The last couple years, I have been living in my “Yes” moment! Yes to furthering my education, yes to moving to a new state, and most importantly, yes to my future husband! As we enter a new year, I am outlining new goals; you know, New Year, new me! I’m definitely laughing out loud but new year, a better, more refined, and healthier me.
“As we enter a new year, I am outlining new goals; you know, New Year, New me!”
As the new year rolls in, I am committing to making better choices, setting achievable goals, and following through. 2018 is a really big year for me; I’m graduating with my Masters in Nursing in May and then getting married to my best friend in August! Although exciting, both of these major milestones are quite stressful for me. In fact, when I first got engaged, I was very eerie about marriage. For many years in my childhood, I thought that I came from a two parent household. Many years later, I found few commonalities with people who had two parents versus the incredible commonalities I had with people with single parents. A few years ago, I watched as my family fell apart following a heartbreaking revelation. In a few words, my entire life went up in flames and I got the confirmation I needed; I was a child of a single parent mother. Although I had been dating my now fiancé for 5 years at that point, I began to resent him and men in general. It took many months for me to make it over that hurdle and give him back the trust he deserved. Not only is holding on to negative feelings stressful, but it is very unhealthy. When I made it over that hurdle, I said yes to being good to myself, yes to forgiveness, and yes to being a healthier version of me.
“Not only is holding on to negative feelings stressful, but it is very unhealthy.”
Sharing this story in hopes of empowering someone else is why I partnered with “Well Yes! Soups”. In the new year, I want to say yes to eating better and being cautious of what I put into my body. When I eat well, I feel better and eventually, look better! Well Yes! Soups are made with nutritious and wholesome ingredients like kale, quinoa, and sweet potatoes. These soups prepare my body to say yes to all the goals I have set; exercise more, study harder, graduate, and get married looking fine AF! Now let’s talk! What are your goals for 2018? What do you wish to achieve? Is nutrition on your list? It definitely is for me and I’ll be rolling into 2018 with Well Yes! Soups!
